About Our Family

We’re a warm, welcoming family who loves spending time together, cheering on our two kids at their sporting activities, traveling when we can, and creating a home that feels comfortable and inviting. Dad runs his own business and primarily works from home, while Mom manages the household full-time. We also have a lovable puppy who keeps things entertaining and ensures there's never a dull moment around the house.

As our family has grown and evolved, so have our needs. We’ve had nannies in the past, but we've reached a stage where what would help us most isn't traditional childcare. We have very little local support, and managing our household often feels like a full-time job in itself. What we're really looking for is a household unicorn—someone who genuinely enjoys creating order, keeping things moving, and helping a busy family stay a few steps ahead of the chaos.

Between laundry, meals, organization, schedules, errands, and all the little things that keep family life running, it sometimes feels like we're constantly "on" and rarely able to come up for air. Just when we cross one thing off the list, three more seem to magically appear.

The areas where we'd most appreciate support are laundry, meal prep, creating and maintaining household systems, and organizational projects like closets, pantries, storage spaces, and all the places where things seem to mysteriously multiply. We love having an organized home and thrive when things are running smoothly—we just need help staying ahead of it all.

While this is not a nanny role, our children are at important and impressionable ages, so it's important to us to find someone who is comfortable around kids and enjoys being part of a family environment. They don't need constant supervision, but we'd love someone who is warm, trustworthy, respectful of boundaries, and genuinely enjoys interacting with them. Whether it's hearing about a game, supervising a bi-weekly date day, or occasionally helping bridge a scheduling gap, we'd love to find someone who can be a positive, dependable presence in our home.

More than anything, we're hoping to find someone who feels like a true partner in helping our household run well. We value kindness, initiative, trust, open communication, flexibility, and we'd love to find someone who takes pride in the behind-the-scenes work that makes family life easier. Our dream is simple: less time buried under an endless to-do list and more time enjoying our family and this season of life.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is trustworthy above all else—someone we can rely on completely and feel confident welcoming into the heart of our home. You're naturally organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in creating systems that help a household run smoothly. More importantly, you're someone who can maintain those systems over time, helping us stay ahead of the day-to-day demands of family life.

You're flexible and adaptable, understanding that even the best-laid plans can change when kids, activities, and busy schedules are involved. You have a warm, engaging personality and genuinely enjoy being around children. While this isn't a childcare-focused role, our kids are an important part of our world, and we'd love someone who enjoys interacting with them, can be a positive presence in their lives, and understands the balance between being approachable and respecting family boundaries.

You're proactive and take initiative, noticing what needs to be done without needing constant direction. At the same time, you're thoughtful and intuitive—you can read the room, understand family dynamics, and know when to step in and when to step back. You're professional, kind, and easy to be around, bringing a sense of calm, capability, and positive energy to our home.

Most of all, we're looking for someone who finds genuine satisfaction in helping a household function at its best. Someone who loves creating order from chaos, anticipates needs before they become problems, and takes pride in making life a little easier for the families they support. If you're looking for a meaningful, long-term role where your organizational talents, initiative, and care for others can truly shine, we'd love to meet you.
