About Our Family
We are a warm, laid-back household with a lot of personality and a love for all things whimsical and fun. Our home is lively, creative, and full of heart - including four beloved cats who are very much part of our family. We love Disney, have a great sense of humor, and genuinely value enjoying our life and the space we have created.
We are both retired and home most of the time, our primary residence is located on 10 private acres in the rural Black Forest area of Colorado Springs. We are currently undergoing a significant 3,500-square-foot addition, including ongoing kitchen construction, which has naturally created additional household projects, logistics, and day-to-day overflow.
We value our home and lifestyle but recognize that the mental load of managing it all can quickly become overwhelming. We have had household support in the past and have a clear understanding of what we are looking for: someone thorough, trustworthy, self-directed, and genuinely proud of their work.
We are seeking a long-term Household Manager who can become a trusted and supportive partner in our home, someone who can help us get ahead of the day-to-day details, create sustainable systems, manage ongoing projects, and thoughtfully execute the many tasks required to keep a busy home and property running smoothly.
Who You Are
You are someone who walks into a space and naturally sees what needs to be done without waiting to be asked. You are highly organized, self-directed, and take genuine pride in keeping a home running smoothly.
You bring strong household management experience, high standards, and the ability to think beyond completing a task to anticipate what comes next. You communicate proactively, follow through consistently, and are comfortable taking ownership while collaborating respectfully with the family.
You are mature, grounded, discreet, and non-judgmental, with healthy professional boundaries and an understanding of confidentiality within a private home. You are comfortable working in a rural environment, navigating ongoing home projects, and supporting a household where the principals are frequently present.
Experience with household management, vendor coordination, construction or renovation projects, property or estate management, and personal assistant support is highly valued.
