Job Description

We are seeing a ballet teacher to support and boost out ballet programming within our dance studio. A ballet teacher is responsible for teaching, guiding, and inspiring students in the art of ballet. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of ballet techniques and history.


This position is for The Art of Motion in Fayetteville, AR. The Art of Motion is a part of the Ensemble Performing Arts network.

Responsibilities:


  • Instruct group classes in teaching ballet technique at varying levels.
  • Have and utilize solid foundation in ballet.
  • Choreograph dances for students of varying levels.
  • Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
  • Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
  • Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
  • Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
  • Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
