Barista
Job summary:
Crafts and serves high-quality coffee and specialty beverages while providing friendly, efficient customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for coffee and hospitality.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
This role includes
• greeting guests
• taking orders
• preparing drinks
• preparing light food items
• maintaining a clean and organized café
• handling cash and card transactions
• ensuring every customer has a welcoming experience.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met




Required skills:
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Teamwork and reliability
• Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not always required




Required or preferred education and experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Experience operating a point of sale system and handling cash is an asset
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso equipment is preferred; training can be provided
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
