About Our Family
We are a professional, entrepreneurial family living on a beautiful 4-acre property in Sebastopol that includes both a primary residence and a fully equipped guest house. Between busy work schedules, managing our property, supporting our children's full school and activity schedules, and frequent travel, we have reached a stage where we are ready to entrust the day-to-day oversight of our property to a dedicated professional.
While we have an established housekeeper supporting the cleaning and maintenance of our primary residence, we are seeking a seasoned House Manager to oversee the bigger picture. This role is focused on creating structure, accountability, and seamless execution across all aspects of the property, including vendor management, maintenance, projects, scheduling, and ongoing operational needs.
We are naturally private and value professionalism, discretion, healthy boundaries, and clear communication. Our property includes multiple structures, animals, vendors, seasonal projects, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys bringing order to complexity, creating efficient systems, and ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
Ultimately, we hope to find a long-term partner who provides peace of mind by managing the many moving parts of our home and property with care, consistency, and professionalism—allowing our family to focus on work, travel, and time together, knowing everything is thoughtfully handled.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned Property Manager, or House Manager who thrives in environments where trust, ownership, and autonomy are valued. Highly organized and naturally proactive, you create order, structure, and efficiency behind the scenes. You anticipate needs, identify solutions, and take thoughtful action without requiring constant direction. You are equally comfortable coordinating vendors, overseeing property projects, managing household operations, and supporting healthy meal preparation that aligns with a busy family's lifestyle.
You bring a calm, professional presence and understand how to work respectfully within a private household. Discretion, sound judgment, and clear communication are second nature to you. You maintain healthy boundaries, keep the family appropriately informed, and confidently manage responsibilities with a high degree of independence and accountability.
Most importantly, you take pride in creating seamless operations and ensuring details are handled with consistency and care. You are solutions-oriented, action-focused, and known for exceptional follow-through. Rather than simply completing tasks, you build sustainable systems that create ease, efficiency, and peace of mind for the families you support.
