Custodian

 
Ministry Role: Facilities Custodian  
Reports to: Pastor of Ministries  
  
VISION FOR THIS ROLE:  
The facilities custodian will be responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the building for all 
aspects of the use of the building and grounds.  

GOALS FOR THIS ROLE: 
To provide a consistently excellent upkeep of the buildings and grounds of LBC for all who use the 
building.    
 
Position Hours: 
18-20 hours per week   
 
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: 
● Cleanliness of the building, especially highlighting Sunday morning and event use 
● Systems of organization for necessary supplies - toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning 
supplies, etc.   
● Occasional hosting required for certain events or needs (being present for non-church events or 
contracted work - this is a shared responsibility)  
● Build a volunteer team for deeper cleaning/organizing/decorating projects for LifeBridge 
 
DUTIES INCLUDED IN THE ROLE: 
● Weekly Sunday AM building cleanliness and readiness 
● Maintenance and organization of rooms, closets, and storage areas 
● Consistent communication with staff and leadership 
● Weekly Check-in  
● Other custodial duties as assigned by your supervisor
