Job Title: Household Manager & Family Assistant
Location: Studio City, CA 91604
Employment Type: Part-time, 20–25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday Afternoons 2:00–6:00 PM, plus longer hours for weekly date-night coverage once per week (Wednesday/Thursday preferred)
Compensation: $32 - $36 per hour
Start Date: Mid-August

- Reliable personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursement provided for work related tasks)
About Our Family:
We are a vibrant and active family of four living in Studio City, with both parents working full-time outside of the home. We have two young boys, ages 5 and 9, who are curious, independent and lively, enjoying sports, games, and reading. They have their own unique personalities that make every day fun and engaging. We’ve lived in LA for many years and while we love the city, we are always looking for opportunities to travel and explore new places together. We also lived abroad for several years, and travel remains a central part of our lives, giving us the chance to broaden our horizons as a family.
As our family’s needs evolve and our boys are becoming more involved in extra-curricular activities, we are looking for someone to step in and help manage the household in a more comprehensive way. With both parents juggling demanding careers and busy schedules, we strive to make the most of our time together. We are seeking someone who can help us do just that, by providing support in managing the home, and day-to-day tasks.

Who You Are:
We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, and takes the job seriously. You should be an active, positive, and enthusiastic person who enjoys engaging with our boys and supporting a healthy lifestyle. We need someone who communicates well, has excellent judgment, and can anticipate needs without constant direction. A long-term commitment is important to us, as we’d love to find someone who can grow with our family. You should be reliable, trustworthy, and capable of managing a variety of tasks in a dynamic household. We are looking for someone who can complement our dynamics, and who understands the importance of maintaining a balance between professional obligations and family time.
Key Qualities:
- Comfortable with meal prep, approaching weekly planning with organization and efficiency.
- Reliable when transporting children to and from activities and school.
- Confident in managing errands and logistical tasks to streamline the household’s daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Family Support and Childcare:
- Assist with school pick-ups and afternoon activities
- Light supervision, playtime, or backup childcare when needed
- Prepare snacks, and assist with child-related laundry/errands
- Provide coverage for weekly date night (Wednesday or Thursday preferred)
Household Organization & Maintenance:
- Maintain existing household organization systems (closets, pantry, toys)
- Reset and tidy rooms daily
- Oversee household schedules and calendars
- Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
- Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest stays on occasion
- Assist with packing/unpacking for family travel
Inventory & Errands:
- Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies
- Create and manage household supply lists
- Run errands (grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping)
- Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries
Meal Support:
- Plan and prep healthy meals/snacks for the family (~3 dinners/week)
- Pack school lunches
- Shop for groceries and meal-related items
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness post-prep and manage tidiness
Vendor & Property Oversight
- Manage multiple properties - One primary residence and two additional properties in the area
- Schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)
- Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes
- Manage routine upkeep across one or multiple properties
- Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs
- Serve as primary contact for vendors
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects:
- Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom)
- Organize special projects (seasonal decorations, toy storage)
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support:
- Manage family calendars and reminders
- Assist with coordination of events and appointments
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks related to kids and school as needed
