About Our Family
We’re a busy, active family in a season of growth — raising two energetic young boys and getting ready to welcome a new baby this summer. Our days are full, our calendar moves quickly, and there’s usually a lot happening at once. Both parents run their own businesses: one is frequently in and out of the office and travels for work, while the other is largely home-based. Mornings in particular can feel like organized chaos — school drop-offs, lunches packed, backpacks accounted for, and everyone getting where they need to be.
We’ve already built a strong foundation at home with a weekly housekeeper and trusted vendors, so this isn’t a role where someone needs to create everything from scratch. What we’re missing is the person who connects the dots — someone who notices what needs attention before it becomes urgent, keeps the household moving behind the scenes, and creates systems that make everyday life feel easier and calmer. We love someone who doesn’t wait for direction or need hand-holding; someone who can confidently say, “Here’s what I’m seeing, and here’s how I’d handle it.” We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and helps dictate the rhythm of the household rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Personality-wise, we’re warm, low-key, and easy to get along with. We value people who are highly organized, proactive, trustworthy, discreet, and warm without being overly familiar. This role is household-first, but because our kids are a big part of daily life, we appreciate someone who enjoys the energy of a young family and understands how thoughtful household support creates more ease, calm, and connection at home. We appreciate someone who can step into the flow of family life when needed while staying focused on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
The best fit for our family is someone who communicates clearly, brings calm confidence to a busy household, and is comfortable making decisions without constant direction. We value initiative, reliability, and someone who is easy to be around — not overly chatty, not transactional, just steady, capable, and invested in helping our home function at its best. We’re not looking for a friendship dynamic — we’re looking for a trusted, capable partner who helps create more breathing room so we can show up as our best selves as parents and as a family.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You’re the kind of person who walks into a home and immediately starts connecting the dots. You notice what needs attention, take initiative, and help create the structure that allows a busy household to feel calmer and more manageable. Specifically, you are someone who:
- Takes ownership naturally — You don’t wait for direction or need hand-holding. You assess what’s needed, prioritize effectively, and confidently move things forward.
- Is highly organized and systems-minded — You enjoy creating routines, processes, and household systems that make day-to-day life easier and more efficient.
- Anticipates needs before they become urgent — Whether it’s planning ahead for the week, noticing household gaps, or staying ahead of logistics, you’re proactive by default.
- Brings calm to a fast-moving environment — You’re comfortable in a household with young children, changing schedules, and lots of moving parts, and you remain steady and solutions-oriented.
- Thrives in a household-first role — You understand that your primary responsibility is keeping the home running smoothly, while comfortably stepping into family life when appropriate.
- Enjoys being around young children without seeking a nanny dynamic — You don’t mind the energy, noise, or unpredictability that comes with two active boys and a growing family, but your focus remains household support and operations.
- Communicates clearly and confidently — You’re comfortable making recommendations, sharing observations, and helping guide household priorities rather than waiting to be assigned tasks.
- Is warm, professional, and discreet — You build trust easily, respect privacy, and know how to be personable without becoming overly familiar.
- Is low-drama and easy to work with — You’re dependable, adaptable, self-sufficient, and bring a positive, grounded presence into the home.
The right person for this role helps create more ease, calm, and breathing room for our family — making everyday life feel more manageable without needing to be asked.
