About Our Family
We are a dynamic family of five living in the beautiful hills of Mill Valley. Both parents work full-time, high-pressure roles, and our schedules look different week to week. With both parents on the go, our home is lively. We are focused on managing the household with a focus on streamlining our evening routine with the ultimate goal of having more time together and a more restorative home environment.
We have three energetic, fun-loving daughters: an eight-year-old who is passionate about competitive gymnastics and dance, a three-year-old who is curious about everything and wants to try it all, and a one-year-old who is just getting started. All three kids are in school or daycare during the day, but the after-school and evening hours are when the household really hums with activity, and we’d love extra support helping everyone move from activities to dinner and then into bedtime—so the evenings feel calmer and more sustainable for all of us.
We're looking for someone who can help us get the basics back on track so our limited time together is actually spent together, not buried in laundry or scrambling to figure out dinner. Despite our full plates, we are committed to making more quality time for family moments, whether that’s supporting the kids in their activities or simply enjoying time together at home. We’re looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into our home, help us maintain a calm and organized environment, and allow us to lighten the mental load as a long-term supportive partner.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
We are looking for a warm, grounded, and self-directed individual who thrives in an active household with high-energy kids. You take pride in your work and are comfortable balancing hands-on childcare with independent household management—this role is intentionally a 50/50 split between caring for our kids and keeping the home running smoothly.
On the caregiving side, you’re engaged and present: helping with after-school transitions, snacks, homework support where needed, shuttling to activities, and serving as calm backup during the dinner-to-bedtime stretch. You set kind, age-appropriate boundaries and bring a steady, nurturing energy that helps the whole home feel more regulated.
On the household side, you naturally create order behind the scenes—resetting spaces, staying ahead of laundry and kitchen flow, anticipating what the family will need next, and improving systems as you go. You’re flexible as schedules shift week to week, communicate proactively, and can read the room and jump in where support is most needed (with a great sense of humor, too).
