About Our Family

We're a warm family of 4, navigating the rewarding, and often busy, years of raising our middle-school aged children. Between school, activities, appointments, homework, and the everyday logistics that come with family life, our days move quickly. Our goal isn't to keep up with the chaos—it's to create a home that feels calm, organized, welcoming, and intentionally cared for.

As our children are becoming more independent, we've realized that what our family needs today is a deeper level of organization and logistical management. We're looking for someone who thrives in a true Household Manager & Family Assistant role—someone who enjoys creating the structure and support that allows a family to spend less time managing life and more time enjoying it.

This position is about much more than completing household tasks. It's about becoming a trusted partner who takes ownership of the daily rhythm of the home. You'll help create smooth afternoons by preparing healthy meals and snacks before everyone arrives home, ensuring backpacks are unpacked, homework routines begin on the right foot, and evenings feel less rushed. You'll oversee laundry from start to finish, maintain organized closets and shared spaces, replenish household supplies before they run out, coordinate errands, and complete the countless small tasks that keep a household operating seamlessly.

The ideal candidate finds genuine fulfillment in this work. You enjoy bringing order where others see overwhelm, creating systems that make life easier, and anticipating needs before they're voiced. Your work allows parents to be more present with their children, reduces the mental load that comes with running a busy household, and creates an environment where everyone feels supported. We value initiative, kindness, professionalism, and long-term relationships, and we're excited to welcome someone who takes pride in making a meaningful difference every single day.

Who You Are

You're someone who naturally notices the details others overlook. Rather than waiting for instructions, you look around and ask yourself, "What would make this family's week easier?" You enjoy planning ahead, solving problems before they become stressful, and creating systems that keep a home running smoothly. Whether it's noticing the groceries need restocking, organizing a space that's become cluttered, rotating seasonal clothing, preparing ingredients for dinner, or remembering an upcoming school event, you're proactive by nature and take ownership of your work.

You genuinely enjoy working with children and understand that this stage is less about constant supervision and more about providing consistency, encouragement, and structure. You're comfortable helping establish productive after-school routines, encouraging homework and personal responsibility, reinforcing household expectations, and engaging children while respecting their growing independence. You understand that your role is to support the parents, and serve as an extension of them, and you model the same kindness, maturity, responsibility, and healthy technology habits the family is working to instill.

You're also highly dependable and understand that reliability is one of the greatest gifts you can offer a busy family. You arrive on time, communicate clearly, maintain discretion, and remain calm when schedules and priorities inevitably shift. You're comfortable managing errands, household inventory, light family meal preparation, calendar-related logistics, laundry, organization projects, and the daily resets that make a home feel peaceful instead of overwhelming. While no two days will look exactly alike, you're energized by variety and confident in balancing multiple priorities with professionalism and efficiency.

Above all, you're looking for more than just a job—you want to become a trusted, valued part of a family's support system. You understand that the greatest measure of success isn't simply crossing tasks off a list; it's hearing a parent say, "Our home feels easier because you're here." If helping create that kind of impact is what motivates you, we'd love to meet you.
