CENTERS' management approach is customized for each client yet retains our uniform quality. Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.

Responsibilities



  • Safely guide students, faculty, and staff through effective, evidence\u2011based nutrition coaching sessions

  • Provide inclusive, respectful, and high\u2011quality customer service to all clients, regardless of background, nutritional knowledge, or appearance

  • Prioritize client safety by offering guidance aligned with professional nutrition standards and department policies.

  • Communicate clearly and promptly with supervisors through phone, email, or in\u2011person meetings regarding schedules, client progress, or program needs

  • Uphold and enforce all program policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines related to nutrition coaching and wellness education

  • Support compliance with facility policies and assist appropriately during emergencies or health\u2011related incidents

  • Attend all required department meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to remain current on best practices in nutrition and student wellness

  • Develop and deliver effective, engaging, and creative nutrition education opportunities such as one\u2011on\u2011one coaching, group sessions, or workshops

  • Ensure a positive and supportive environment for all participants, accommodating diverse levels of nutritional literacy and health goals

  • Participate in ongoing training, certification updates, and program development initiatives as required


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:



  • Possess a current, recognized nutrition credential, such as Certified Nutrition Coach, Certified Health Coach, or Registered Dietitian

  • Demonstrate leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide clients toward sustainable, evidence\u2011based nutrition habits

  • A proactive, student\u2011centered mindset with enthusiasm for promoting healthy eating, wellness education, and campus\u2011wide nutrition initiatives

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong written and interpersonal communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied coaching schedule, including one\u2011on\u2011one sessions, workshops, and campus events

  • Knowledge of evidence\u2011based nutrition practices, behavior\u2011change strategies, and general wellness principles, especially those relevant to college\u2011aged populations

  • Ability to thrive in a university environment that values high expectations, accountability, inclusivity, and balanced, holistic lifestyles

  • Proficiency with fitness, wellness, nutrition knowledge and coaching techniques

  • Proficient with developing plan for continued growth in clients\u2019 skills


Human Relations:


Internal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors. Contact involves troubleshooting, informing, exchanging information, negotiating, making recommendations, and giving information or instructions.


 


Work Environment and Physical Demands


Work Environment



  • Office environment/fitness center environment

  • Moderate to loud noise

  • Evening and/or weekend work as required
