Job Title: Household Manager w/ Meal Prep Support


Location: Williamsville, NY (14221)


Employment Type: Part-Time; 25 hours/week guaranteed; W2


Schedule: M–F, 7:30 AM–12:30 PM; flexibility for occasional evening help


Compensation: $28–32/hour, based on experience


Start Date: ASAP

Between managing the children’s schedules, preparing meals, and handling the day-to-day logistics of our home, we need a reliable partner who can assist with organization, errands, meal prep, and more. We’re looking for a team player who is ready to help create a well-organized, supportive environment where everything flows more seamlessly, allowing us to focus on spending more quality time together as a family.

Key Responsibilities


Household Management & Organization


  • Create and maintain household organization systems
  • Daily reset and tidying of household and preparation for bi-weekly house cleaners
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas
  • Seasonal swaps of clothing, bedding, and décor
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Maintain indoor plants
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc.

Inventory & Errands


  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Handle returns, dry cleaning, and gift shopping
  • Mail and package handling
  • Breakdown of boxes

Meal Planning & Prep


  • Prep healthy dinners 4-5x/week via meal delivery service
  • Prepare kids’ lunches 5x/week
  • Grocery shopping for family and elderly relative
  • Mindfulness of family allergies and dietary preferences
  • Kitchen cleanup and maintenance

Family Support & Child Assistance


  • Assistant with school/camp/activity drop-off and pickup
  • Light supervision and back-up childcare as needed
  • Prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks for school/camp
  • Manage kid-related errands

Laundry & Linen Care


  • Wash, fold, and put away family laundry
  • Linen rotation of sheets and towels
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas

Pet Care


  • Walk dog 1x/day for 20 minutes
  • Occasional vet scheduling and drop-off
  • Maintain pet supplies

Vendor & Property Oversight


  • Oversee cleaners, contractors, landscapers
  • Assist with pick-up/drop-off of vehicles for inspection
  • Research and coordinate home repairs and quotes

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects


  • Occasional deep cleans of fridge, oven, and baseboards
  • Refresh garage, mudroom, and entryway as needed
  • Clean basement dehumidifier
  • Organize kids' closets

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support


  • Awareness of family calendar to send reminders
  • Receipt and budget tracking for household expenses incurred as House Manager
  • Appointment coordination, including doctor’s visits for elderly relative
