TO BE CONSIDERED CANDIDATE MUST MEET ONE OF THESE REQUIREMENTS:

a. Have a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis.

b. Completed or pursuing a master's in a related field, AND pursuing a BCBA. 

c. Bachelor's Degree with 12 units in ABA courses.

Responsibilities

\u2022 Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.\u2022 Assist with developing interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills, including creating materials for use with various behavior programs, including in-home therapy and at schools.\u2022 Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions to reduce interfering behaviors, in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and their child's specific goals.\u2022 Assist with developing goals in a range of areas including communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help skills, and recreational and leisure skills in consultation with the clinical supervisor.\u2022 Assist the clinical supervisor in the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.\u2022 Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data and provide periodic reviews of Behavioral Therapists' performance, including providing on-going verbal and written feedback to Behavior Therapists.\u2022 Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure accuracy of client data, coach Behavior Therapists to reduce data discrepancies.\u2022 Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.

Qualifications

\u2022 Must be enrolled in Master's program or have Master\u2019s Degree in related field\u2022 2-3 years experience working as a Behavior Therapist.\u2022 2-3 years experience working with children age 2-18 with developmental disabilities.

Salary Range

USD $26.00 - $30.00 / Hour
